Their installation is recommended in all cases of risk of corrosion of metallic structures being in contact with electrolytes (hot water, soil, sea water etc.)
 The fields where they are mostly used are those of water-heaters and boilers, in which all that fastidious problems of corrosion owing to defects of the inner coating are overcome thanks to the use of anodes.
Other important fields of application are those of pipings and of sunken tanks, of metallic structures in contact with sea-water (ships being fitted out, landing-stages, floating-docks etc.) of heat exchangers.
The anodes have a zinc-plated steel core of suitable length, galvanized and, they are manufactured if threaded in conformity with the standard UNI 4535/64.
By request the anodes can be provided with a zinc-coated steel or brass plug.
Our company can offer different types of anodes with different diameters: from mm 14 – 16 – 18 – 21,3 – 22 – 25,5 – 26 – 32 – 40 – 66 and different lengths.
The customer can specify the length and the diameter of the core
 Our magnesium anodes are guaranteed by some test made by our chemical laboratory, that is endowed with equipments for chemical analysis, for the potential and for the anode’s consumption.
All of our instruments and the pertinent evidence are conforming with the DIN 4753/6 standard.
We can also provide magnesium anodes with bags that are used for cathodic protection for buried metal structures such as IPG gas tanks , pipelines etc..
Galvanic units are commonly from Kg. 2,3 – Kg. 4,1 – Kg. 7,7 with or without backfill.
